MIDFIX Makes Significant Donation

Written by Scott Humphris | October 24, 2019

We are delighted to raise £7,158 to Marie Curie. The charity who provides care and support to individuals going through terminal illness has told us that; “This is the most significant donation that we have received in Nottinghamshire this year.”

From Marie Curie

Marie Curie provides a free and confidential phone line to people living with a terminal illness. Individuals can speak to specialist nurses. It costs the charity £3,550 per day to fund this UK wide support service, our donation will pay for two days of this service.

Bev Chiang, Marketing Manager at MIDFIX said; “We like to get all the staff involved to support our fundraising activities. For Marie Curie, we held a darts competition which quickly became highly competitive, a cake sale and a baby photo quiz. We are so pleased that our donation will be able to make a difference to people who are going through very difficult times.”
