Did you know that during 2018, we sold over 300 miles of channel? This equates to enough channel, placed end to end, in a round trip from Nottingham to Birmingham to London to Cambridge and back to Nottingham again….!

We understand that one-size does not fit all, that’s why we offer a channel cutting service, where we cut to specific lengths in our quality controlled, fabrication workshop. Products such as channel and studding can be pre-cut to any length as required, saving time and risk on site.

2018 was a record year for our fabrication service, which included moving to new premises of 30,000 sqft nearby allowing us to be more efficient, increase capacity and take our service to a new level. We also grew our team of fabricators, including skilled TIG/MIG welders to complement our increased pre-fabrication service.

“Off-site pre-cutting of Channel and studding is the best way for sites to remain safer and for quality to remain high. It also reduces wastage because we calculate the most efficient way to produce your requirements therefore enabling you to be more economical with your purchases and meeting sustainability requirements too.” says William.

The industries we serve are under pressure to deliver projects on-time and our customers require a fast, easy and frictionless service. We apply the same principles to our cutting service ensuring materials are cut, packaged and delivered to your site the next working day, ensuring that your project remains on schedule.

Our customers’ needs range from large national requirements to more local one-off needs. Whatever your requirements, contact us today for further details on 0115 922 1585 or email sales@midfix.co.uk.
